The food

At Monnington Lodge we pride ourselves in producing home-made food of the highest quality. Over the six months we have been open, we have built up a wealth of regular trade and have earned a reputation throughout the local area for providing first class personal service in cosy unassuming surroundings.

Our menu caters for a wide range of tastes, from traditional English favourites to Mediterranean cuisine and worldwide influences. There is something for every palate. For vegetarians or those with special dietary requirements our chef will be happy to suggest a choice of appropriate meals.

When you arrive at Monnington Lodge you will find a relaxed atmosphere, buzzing with the sound of social chatter. Local businessmen entertain clients for lunch, enjoying our daily fresh fish specials. While regulars meet for a drink at the bar, perhaps tucking into our popular home-made Steak and Ale Pie.
Gourmets can enjoy

When booking for a larger group of people, we recommend you order a starter platter, which includes a selection of cold meats, salads, fish and pates, and is served with hot toast. For special occasions we have a function rooms, ideally suited to seat larger groups of customers. With one of our friendly staff assigned to your party, you will have privacy to entertain your guests, and receive attentive service throughout your meal.
